I have a Windows XP Pro machine that Task Manager will not run on.
Tried running from task bar, CTRL+ALT+DEL menu, and even the TASKMAN.EXE file itself.
Never works.
I have reinstalled IE 6 SP1.
I have run System File Checker
I cleaned W32.Klez off of the system and reinstalled the antivirus software (McAfee\'s website said Klez can cause Task Manager not to work)
Still not working.
I have not installed XP SP1 yet since it is an older PC and not sure of the compatibility yet. Still verifying this.
Any other suggestions?
