Can anyone tell me if I can check to see if I have Office XP Sp1 installed. I tried runing SP1 and It told me that it could not update Access. Any help. Thanks

Sure you can, just open office and goto help. and it will tell you which serverice pack you have. but you may want to get OXPSP2 as that is out and about

I did not see any service packs installed. Is there anything in the registry about it. Also I had downloaded the SP\'s from a website not Microsoft. Thanks for the reply

It sounds like your SP1 update had trouble upating MS Access and aborted the whole process.  I doubt if trying SP2 will succeed either in that case.  I would reinstall or repair your Office installation.

It should activate fine as long as you have an internet connection.  If not then you may need to call MS to get an activation code.
