Microsoft's recent conflict with the us gov makes me wonder. The us gov
wants to tack a 2.2 trillion dollar lawsuit to cover all the people that have
been vulerable to their weak \"Passport\" security.
Now ok, so this is a good thing yes??? or no?
I feel no, if the us gov would pin that lawsuit on m$ you could pretty much
say goodbye to \"Microsoft Windows 2004\" or whatever and see \"The United
State's of America's Windows 2004\" or whatever.
Who is better suit to have the company. M$ has it now and it's obvious that
they really dont care about their support/security since so much is said by
M$ that state's they are improving it drastically yet nothing is ever, or even
close to being as secure as they made it out to be... a bunch of lies more or
less.
OR, the us gov. Now if they got their hands on it they would pretty much
have the citizens of ALL countries that run windows on a leash. It would be
the ultimate tracking tool for them. They could even just pass laws for the
heck of it that would completely limit your usage of the computer...after all
who is going to stand up to the us gov?? the citizens??? not likely in todays
world.
I hope m$, as much as i hate to say it, that m$ dodge's the lawsuit.
