xp pro/ make yahoo mail as only source

Hi,

I saw your post over on the \"Gnome-Gnamed-Mentioned\" board....I don't think it's possible with yahoo mail....(even with \"yahoo-pops\"). But I have to say that was the wrong board to ask a serious technical question.

You missed out on Yahoo. It used to support POP3 and SMTP...now i think it only supporst POP3.

You can define any mail client to use a POP3 or SMTP server. Yahoo still does POP3 i think (incoming mail) but
SMTP (outgoing mail) i think was taken out back when they turned their EULA into a \"last rights\" disclaimer.

In either case of any email service...you will have to find the name of the pop3 server for yahoo or any one.
It should be listed under its options...or atleast it once was. but since they did away with smtp i have never
even looked for the server name again for POP3 through them.

search on the internet for a free email client that supporst POP3 and/or SMTP...there is still some that exist today...not many...but should be some.
