What are some good (15" & 17") LCD monitors?  Any that really stand out?

Coz every Dell monitor has its own Self-Test Feature Check (SFTC) which is very useful when you think there's something wrong w/ your monitor.   http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />

Thanks for the input... good to know about Dell LCD's... that's the sort of thing I'm looking for... little tidbits that make a difference.
I've seen favorable reviews of Dell LCD monitors in major pc mags, but thought maybe they were influenced (biased) by advertising dollars.
