I have a file that I need to edit the content of
it seems to be just a text file though it has no extention
but when opened in notepad is reads

»   [.¸)Ž=ö¸l·
½V.¤!‰#õ·”h²½

I deleted the file and let the app recreate it and the 2nd one reads like

0000001002200309020002849803>@塎"ÑÓ“À
Œ8&<C㥐/ÑۍÉ;,;I㢞;Á

now this is an aspect of computing that I have never had to work with befor so I am stuck please help

you have to give more info than that, alot more.

you tried hex?

i cant help you with the info you gave. You know how many types of files there are? ALOT! (most all text, however to edit them sometimes requires more than and text editor).

with a hex editor.

is this a secret or something??? im wondering because if you would alteast tell us what package the files i from you would be giving us a WORLD more of what to go off of.

i cant help you anymore unless you go into detail on what it is, what your trying to do to it, what you have already tried, and whatever else.
