modifying setupp.ini doesnt work as advertised
« on: December 02, 2003, 12:03:12 PM »
Hi,

Perhaps I'm missing something here but I followed the document on modifying the setupp.ini file from this website and no matter what I do, I cannot get it to prompt for an OEM key. I'm trying to do an XPOEM install with an XPCorp CD. I change the PID from 55274270 to 55274OEM and it shows me the retail CD key screen. If I change it to 335, it also shows me the retail CD key screen. Of course it doesn't accept my OEM key. Perhaps this combo doesn't work?  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Joe
