I recently tried to keep windows me out of a dual boot with w2k , and I deleted the line C:=\"Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition\" .I couldn\'t boot anymore from my w2k on D.Then I put Ntldr ,ntbootdd.sys ,ntdetect.com and boot.ini on my D drive and I could boot again but the bootmenu did\'nt show anymore as there was only one system left , as to the boot.ini .Those files are normally on drive C .
Put these files \"also\" on the drive or partition where w2k is installed .If w2k is installed on C check if those files are there .You have to change the folder options in the tools menue \"to show all files \" .
