Sorry for the delay, I'm not seeing anything wrong with your log

When was the last time you cleaned out those temp folders and defragged the hard drive?
Just regular maintenance

Have you done any fixes with Hijackthis before posting the log?

Any programs you recently installed before the slowdown?

Do you want to post your own logs from FRST?

You might want to consider doing a Clean Install.  Format your hard drive and reload Windows and all other software.

the last time i did a defrag was about 1-2 weeks ago. and i cleaned out the temp folders yesterday. would a fresh reinstall of windows solve this slowdown?

and no i didn't install any programs to cause slowdown. just anti virus stuff like avg and zonealarm pro firewall.

Can we try something please, I wouldn't think that AVG would cause such a slowdown
Not sure about Zone Alarm however

Set Windows To Show Hidden Files and Folders
    * Click Start.
    * Open My Computer.
    * Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
    * Select the View Tab.
    * Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
    * Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
    * Uncheck the Hide Extensions for known file types
    * Click Yes to confirm.
    * Click OK.

Could you do the following please
=Download RKFiles.zip from the link
http://skads.org/special/rkfiles.zip
UNZIP the contents to it's own folder

==Also, Download and Install this small program
to help clean your temp folders,cookies, prefetch, etc...
Windows Cleanup
Give the link time to load or try it twice, it may be busy
We'll need this later

RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODE
You can do this by tapping the F8 key as the system is restarting, after the single post beep, or use the link
I supplied for a more detailed explanation

Open Windows CleanUp!>>START>>programs>>Cleanup!
Click on the CleanUp button, let it finish scanning for files, when it's done
Decline to Log off or Restart the computer

Open the folder you unzipped rkfiles.zip too
Double click to run Rkfiles.bat
Wait for the scan to finish, give this time
When it's done a log will be produced, save this log
By default, it is saved to C:\Log.txt

Restart back to Normal mode and post back the log from Rkfiles.bat

Note: After running Windows CleanUp, the startup may appear to be a bit slower at first, on the next bootup this will improve
This is because it is also cleaning the Prefetch folder, which we want to do, so don't disable that option in CleanUp!
