Celeron CPU's

Hi Guys,
I thought that the definition of a Celeron processsor was that it didn't have any L2 cache. I now see ads for these processsors with up to 1GB? of L2 cache on them.
What has changed? And are Celeron CPu's now a worthwhile purchase?

not 1gb of L2 cache, maybe 1mb. Every computer microprocessor uses L2 cache. yes, even the Pentium MMX had l2 cache. Whoever told you celerons don't have l2 cache has no idea what they're talking about.

And no, the AMD Sempron is both cheaper and performs better than any celeron.

Celerons are crap, get a sempron or maybe even an Athlon Xp!
