Because posting in the wrong section is a rule...and it is the rule that is broken the most out of any other rule...

it doesnt matter if you yourself dotn see it as important...or if NO ONE sees it as important...i could go make a rule that says no1 can post the word "and"...and if people broke it, i would still make a big deal out of it...rules are rules...they are here for the benefit of the forum, and i expect them to be followed, no matter how insignificant...

Your idea about the punishment system...

I have tried doing that system 3 times now...my "JB Lee's Notes" thread...

it doesnt matter how good of a system you have, if the mods are unresponsive, "lazy", "too busy", or "cant be assed"...then nothign will get done...

it doesnt matter how many times you ask them, it doesnt matter where you ask them, and it doesnt matter what it is you are asking...if they dont want to do it, they wont...

the ONLY way anything is going to get done is if we get a new mod who actually wants to do modding...

now, i would like for everyone to go read my thread regarding the Empty Warn system...its a way to keep track of the amount of times people break the rules, and then administer the correct punishment (rules and punishments found in my sig)

In any case, the main theme that is comming up in everyones points of views, is a need for a mod, an active one, a mod that will do what a mod should do. Now that doesnt mean that we need another one, because we already have 3. If they steped up and got on the same page (not blaming any one mod for slacking) as us we could eliminate most of the problems. Untill then there isnt much we can do but continue to make threads like this. And these threads arent going to mean anything untill we get a active mod, not only active but one that will do what a mod should do.

And about what jb said, i know its important to have someone fixing ill placed threads and spam. But it shouldnt be at the top of our list. We need to set up a system of mods, elites, and common members. After all we are just a small portion of this forum. If you want to make this more of a forum where everyone has a say why stop it at just the elites. We of course would be the final say in it, but we need to hear what they have to say also.

But again we can make the best system ever created, but untill we get that mod that will work with us its pointless.

I think every problem on the the site should be treated as equal...regardless of how unimportant it may seem...im not trying to make threads in the wrong section seem more important than punishing people who have done worse things...I am trying to make sure people dont forget the "little things that people dont care about" as i am so often told...

Although I agree that all of the problems would be fixed if the current mods did their jobs...i can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will NEVER happen...

Allanon has made it very clear he considers modding the forum "below" him...he says he is the head-mod and his duties lie in the ACP and not in the moderating of the forum itself...and while i dont completely agree, he does have a point...

Aragost has flat out refused to moderate the forum because he "cant be assed"...I have been told on MANY occasions that he will not do anything I tell him to do...because he doesnt want to be tolf he only does what I tell him to do...so instead of actually doing something, he does absolutely nothing...instead of accepting the help i provide, he refuses it and does nothing...that is just incomprehensible to me...

Pureblood does fine, when he notices something...and when he is on...I have no complaints about him other than the fact that he isnt on alot...

This isnt to complain about the current system, it is to think of a system that will improve it. We can sit here and complain about what some arent doing, but it wont change unless we all do something about it.... i dont know if that came out the right way but i refuse to read it over.
