You might be able to believe IN him, but you can't actually believe HIM.

He twists everything he says to make his backwards idiotic ideas sound appealing to the American public. If people actually knew what the things he said meant, he wouldn't get a single vote. (See my sig)

It has nothing to do with using a computer, it has to do with "rights to businesses". It is his oppinion that businesses should be allowed to do whatever they want with the products they sell. It is his oppinion that ISP's should be allowed to do whatever they want with the internet connections they sell. If this is allowed, then ISPs will start limiting the internet access that they send out. You will start buying individual sites much like how you buy individual TV stations now. "OK sir, that will be an extra $3 a month for Showtime." will become "OK sir, that will be an extra $3 a month for Youtube." Some ISP's will go a different route and allow all websites, but allot most of their bandwidth to certain sites. Meaning Myspace and Youtube will remain normal, but TheTechGuide will be insanely slow in an effort to get you to use their affiliates over others.

He might not know any of this, he might not know what a keyboard is for all I care, but if he gives the rights to businesses to do whatever they want with their products, it is inevitable. It has already happened in hundreds of countries, it is happening in the UK in 2009, it will happen in the US if McCain becomes president, end of story.

---
But now that you mention it, why would ANYONE ever vote for a leader who doesn't use computers? We are at a point in time where technology is no longer an option. Newspapers are limited, the internet is not. Mail is slow, email is immediate. Going to a store proves limited inventory, buying something online allows you to see every product that you could possibly be looking for. Why elect a president that has and will continue to knowingly oppose technological advancement?

---
People need to stop saying "Well, we have to choose one of them..." and start realizing that the fact that you do not like either candidate combined with the fact that you have no alternative choice is WRONG. If the majority of the country can collectively agree on the fact that neither candidate is fit for the job, then new candidates should be chosen. "Settling" on someone who is going to lead your country for the next 4 years is the most idiotic thing I have heard in my life. People need to stand up, spread the truth, stop watching corporate media and believing everything they hear, and realize that they are adding to the downfall of our country by compromising with the flawed system we have transformed our "democratic" political society into...

The internet is a vast network of content that can not be controlled or monitored, and if one small nation can harbor weapons of mass destruction, then I fear to think what the internet can do. We have to shut it down before it shuts us down.

That is a direct quote from John McCain.

A vote for McCain is a vote for the end of the internet.

McCain & Palin? Nooo

What if Pres McCain got Assasinated. Do you want Palin to be in charge of our Country? ..."I can see Russia from my house"

Also, McCain said he would re-institute the Daft! I do not want to go to war. It is time for some Democrats in here.. No more G-Dub's. McCain took George Bush's side on 90% of his decisions... George Bush only made 10% of his screw-ups on his own (Without the help of McCain)

Palin didn't actually say that... she said something about being able to see Russia from Alaska and then Tina Fey said "I can see Russia from my house"

and if those are the only reasons you have for not voting for McCain then you only know what you have seen on commercials...

anyway if McCain is elected then basically the country will be [censored]ed even if he doesn't die while in office.

Personally if he gets elected I am going to exchange all my American Dollars for some silly European currency and wait for the dollar to fall below the peso... then convert it back and buy me a pony.

Reazee is right. Sarah Palin did not say that. Tina Fey did however. And Yes you can truly see Russia from Alaska.

Palin still isn't qualified, McCain is still doing/saying anything to get votes from people who don't listen/idiots and Obama still isn't a socialist or closet Muslim.

Can you actually give a reason to why you think McCain is better than Obama besides giving links to places that give misleading facts and say they don't use smear tactics yet call him a socialist/imply he is a Muslim (which in Republican means terrorist apparently)?

Republicans believe everything negative they hear about Obama, and then completely deny/tune out everything bad about McCain.

Democrats believe everything negative they hear about McCain, and then listen to what you have to say bad about Obama, tell you that's interesting, and then forget it within the next 5 seconds.

Republicans are just more outspoken and forceful about their beliefs, while Democrats use hidden tactics and actual thought. I despise both parties, as well as both candidates, the only difference I see is that McCain WILL cause problems and Obama MAY cause problems.

However, as I said earlier in this topic:

OK This is what I HATE.
I can't stand the fact that people say Sarah Palin isn't qualified. What about Obama? What experience does he have? Sarah Palin is the governor of Alaska. She has executive experience. Barrack Obama has little to none executive experience. The only reason people have forgetten about question Barrack Obamas experience is because he has been all over the news in the past months and the liberal elite media has basically given him a free ride. (No I seldem watch Fox News) Ok well maybe he was a "community organizer." Sarah Palin's approval rating is in the 80%. And what the heck does it matter? Sarah Palin is at the bottom of the ticket. Since when did this matter? Let me guess you will say "but McCain is old" You know what? SO WHAT? His freaking mother is still alive. She is like 96, I think, so i think there is only a slight chance of him dying while in office. Who cares if he is old.

Yes I can give you many reasons of why John McCain is better than Barrack Obama.
First of all I am a conservative and would defintily never vote for some that left.
Second of all John McCain wants to use Americas resources and use our coal and oil instead of getting it from over seas.
Third. Barrack Obama wants "A National Healthcare System" AKA socialised medicine. I do not want that, and also it would end up hurting us in the end.

Also about those links. That was just a joke... I know it isnt true.
