I supplied a link in my previous post on how to totally remove Itunes, quicktime, apple software update, etc

I would follow the steps to remove everything and start from scratch

I did follow every step to the letter and the ITunes still froze up.

I double-checked that the programs were deleted etc. too before reinstalling.

I don't know if we have any more options.

You have CCleaner installed, open it
Click on TOOLS>>In Programs to Remove highlight My Way Search Assistant then select "Delete Entry"

You can remove OTL.exe, open OTL, click on the CLEANUP button
Follow the prompts, reboot when prompted

I would enquire about your problems with Apple forums, I don't use Itunes, sorry, I can only try and help and nothing seems to be working
My media players of choice are WMP and Gom Player

FYI:

I did a full restore of my Dell Computer utilizing PC Restore for Windows XP found in Technical Support for Dimension 3000.

ITunes is working fine now following this restoration process. It was the only process that I could get to work for me. Apple's suggestions didn't work.

I learned a lot in following the steps that we did though and I appreciate your help in this matter.
